8:15am Gather in front of Hanoi Opera House. Our guide and bus will pick you up to start Hanoi city tour with:
a.) Ho Chi Minh Complex includes Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum- the final resting place o the beloved national hero- Uncle Ho and the President Ho Chi Minh's stilt house where he lived off and on from 1958-1969.
b.) One Pillar Pagoda is situated in the western part of Hanoi capital, near Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum. It was founded by King Ly Thai To in 1049. Architecturally, One Pillar Pagoda was built of wood on a single stone pillar 1.25M in diameter, and it is designed to resemble a lotus blossom, which is a Buddhist symbol of Purity, since a lotus blossoms in a muddy pond. Its structure has become a important symbol of Hanoi people.
c.) Temple of literature(Van Mieu Temple): Van Mieu-Quoc Tu Giam is a famous historical and cultural relic consisting of the Temple of Literature and Quoc Tu Giam the first university of Vietnam. The Temple of Literature was built in 1070 in honor of Confucius, his followers and Chu Van An- a moral figure of Vietnamese education. Quo Tu Giam was build in 1076. Throughout its hundreds of years of activity in the feudal, thousands of Vietnamese scholars graduated from this university.
12:30pm Having lunch at local restaurant
13:00pm Visiting Ngoc Son Temple and Hoan Kiem Lake- the heart and soul of Hanoi. This is the part of town where the commercial streets of modern Hanoi meet the ancient 36 streets and numerous alleys amongst temples, pagodas and lakes.

a.) Museum of Ethnology. (Available on every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. )
This superb museum showcases the depth of Vietnamese cultural diversity with an astounding collection of 15,000 artifacts gathered from throughout Vietnam. Maps, displays and dioramas are labeled in Vietnamese, French and English. Displays portray a typical village market,the making of comical hats and a Tay shamanic ceremony, videos show the real things. You can also check out a traditional Black Thai house reconstructed in the museum. There is also a center for research and conservation where scientists from all over the world study traditional Vietnamese cultures.
b.) Bat Trang Village (Available on every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. )
Bat Trang Village is a small village which is far about 13 km from Hanoi. It’s famous with high quality products of ceramic and pottery. If you have known about Vietnam, you may not be surprised that Bat Trang’s vases, bowls, dishes, etc. have been exported worldwide.
Return to the departure point at around 4:00pm.
